Yerba Buena Alliance Gala Celebrates 23 Years!

October 27, 2014/in Commercial Landscapes, Landscaper San Francisco Bay Area

San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Alliance is an important organization whose mission is to grow and maintain the Yerba Buena neighborhood.

Every year the Alliance holds a gala to raise much needed funds to support their numerous community programs.  A tradition of the gala is to present the “unsung hero” award.  This year’s award went to Belva Davis, the first African American female TV journalist in the western US.

Gourmet food is another important attraction of the gala.  Top neighborhood restaurants contribute their best culinary creations for the gala’s annual “Taste of Yerba Buena”.

Gardeners’ Guild was one of the sponsors.  And, this year, Thursday October 23rd President, Kevin Davis and Vice President, Mike Davidson attended.  It was a beautiful fall evening.  See photos of the stunning views from the Metreon!
